Anyone who chooses a career in healthcare must have a penchant for helping others, and Medical Assistant Kathy Gentry is no exception. She simply loves helping people. “If you don’t like doing that, this is not the field for you,” she says. And it’s not just our patients she loves to help. Outside of the clinic, she donates blood frequently, serves as an instructor at a summer medical camp, and helps fundraise for the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville.
