Each month, our employees pool donations for a deserving local non-profit. Those who donate $3 or more earn the privilege of dressing casual on a designated Friday. We call it “Casual for a Cause.”

The chosen non-profit for March, 2021, is the Fauquier Community Food Bank, located in Warrenton, VA.

We chose the food bank this month because food bank donations tend to drop off this time of year, between the holidays and the growing season when produce is plentiful.

Join the cause

In order to make an even bigger impact, we invite other local businesses to join us in supporting the food bank. If you can organize an office fundraiser, we urge you to give it a try. We recognize with so many people working from home, it may be a challenge to do that. Fortunately, it’s just as easy for individuals to make online donations.

Whether it’s a team effort or individual contribution, simply visit the food bank’s donation page to make an online donation. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!

About the food bank

The Fauquier Community Food Bank is “kind of like a little grocery store,” according to manager Cindi Lacey, where clients can walk around with a grocery cart from one section to another to pick up fresh produce, deli items, refrigerated food, frozen meat, baked goods, canned food, personal care products, and even pet food.

Food bank clients can shop twice a month, on weekdays from 12 - 3:45 PM.

“We are grateful for any and all the help that we receive from our local friends and families here in Fauquier County ... we are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community,” says Cindi.
