Dr. Louis Magdon has joined Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center, with offices in Warrenton and Gainesville.

A fellowship-trained, board-eligible orthopaedic spine surgeon, Dr. Magdon will work with the Blue Ridge orthopaedic medical team, which includes six orthopaedic surgeons, two pain management physicians, five physician assistants and a dozen physical therapists at Blue Ridge Physical Therapy.

Replacing Dr. Jeffrey Wise, who retired from the practice in March, Dr. Magdon will begin seeing patients in August.

“From my perspective, it is a privilege to be entrusted with a patient’s care,” he said. “Every patient has a unique story that deserves to be heard. Shared decision-making is paramount to implementing the right treatment plan.”

Dr. Magdon graduated from the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. After a general surgery internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, he completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Magdon received sub-specialized training in spine surgery with a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.

He maintains privileges at Fauquier Hospital ton, Haymarket Medical Center and Haymarket Surgery Center.
